Helwan Orphanage for boys

People In Need Inc. is an American non-profit organization incorporated in 1993 for the purpose of helping the children of Egypt improve their quality of life. Children are the future of any country, and People In Need Inc. is dedicated to helping the children of Egypt have a quality of life. Children come to the orphanages for many different reasons. Some of these children are just babies and because of circumstances beyond their control, they find that parents do not have the finances to care for them any more. When they are older, these children come into the orphanage with mixed emotions. Knowing what it is like to live with parents and other siblings, they are now faced with adjusting to a larger family (the orphanage). These children feel lonely, and sometimes their feelings are played out in hurtful ways. Many of these children never leave the orphanage until they are old enough to go into the Army. These children need their basic needs met as well as being loved and felt that their life has some worth. Special need children have to have a one on one encounter. They need to learn how to take care of their bodily functions and learn proper hygiene. A lot of young women never leave the orphanage.  Some stay when they are older to care for other children. Even if they could leave the orphanage, they do not have the finances to care for themselves properly.

The Helwan Orphanage needs finances to continue to help the children with basic needs. With the rising number of children, the demands for everyday basic needs are always on the rise. They also need to expand their facility to accommodate the children they have as well as receive new ones. 

There are also many needy widows with children living in Upper Egypt. These women do not have the necessities to care for their children properly. Please consider helping the orphan children along with these widows who need your support to carry them through the days ahead.
